A utility building wind and solar parks across Northern Europe.
Nordlicht struggled to fill night positions. The film had to make the night look like something to want.

A 60-second recruitment film and twelve short portraits for the careers site.
The 60-second film shows one night from the handover at ten to the first train home in the morning. It ran on social, at job fairs and on screens in the plant's own canteen.
The twelve portraits are each around thirty seconds, one person, one question: why nights? They sit on the careers site next to the jobs they describe.
Process
Shot over four night shifts with the real teams, lit only by the control room and the plant itself.
Nobody on screen is an actor. The teams chose who would speak for them, and we worked around the plant's routines instead of interrupting them.
We brought no lights onto the floor. The control room screens, the warning lamps and the glow of the plant were enough, and they gave the film the colour the night actually has there.

Result
Every open night position was filled within the quarter.
Applications for night positions tripled in the first month, and most applicants mentioned the portrait of the team they wanted to join.
The portraits are still on the careers site. Two of the people in them now train the new night staff.
